Remote Learning
In this section you will find the remote learning information to use if your child is absent from school as a result of needing to self-isolate, shielding or in the event of a full or partial school closure.
For children learning from home, daily learning mirroring the usual school curriculum will be provided through Purple Mash. Pupils should submit their work through Purple Mash or via year group email (to the addresses below) for marking and feedback. Class teachers will closely support those learning remotely from home during National Tier 5 Restrictions or if other covid-related situations arise.
Where possible, pupils should access their work through Purple Mash as teaching videos and other useful resources can be found there. We understand that access to technology is sometimes difficult and offer paper packs of work where pupils cannot access online learning. These are updated each Wednesday and can be collected from the school office.
Further information about our remote learning offer, our current policy and the expectations for each Key Stage around remote learning are set out below. You can also read our case studies reflecting on our responses to previous covid-related closures.
Keep safe online and remember everything we teach you in school about your online safety.
These are our class email addresses.
These emails will be periodically monitored by the teachers.
Thank you.
