INTRODUCTION

Little Bears breakfast and after school club opened in September 2015 and is run under the direct management of Leigh Beck Infant and Nursery Academy.    It aims to provide morning and after-school care for up to 52 pupils, aged 3 – 7 years, who attend Leigh Beck Infant and Nursery Academy.

We aim to provide a friendly and stimulating environment for the children.   Our play workers are all qualified and employed as Nursery Nurses or LSA’s at Leigh Beck Infant and Nursery Academy.    Parents are welcome to comment on the Club and to discuss their children’s care with them.

Little Bears Breakfast Club

Leigh Beck Infant Academy holds a breakfast club each morning which is run by our own school staff. Children are welcome to join us from 7.30 am for breakfast which includes toast, cereal fruit, yoghurt and a drink etc, followed by activities. There is a daily charge to cover staffing and food costs.  This currently stands at £3.50 per child per session.

The Breakfast Club follows a structured yet flexible plan which provides an opportunity for children to socialise and play together before school whilst also providing them with breakfast.

Children have access to a range of resources in a nurturing environment including art and craft, construction toys, board games and computer games.

Little Bears After School Club

We also hold an After School Club every day until 5.15pm. The children are provided with a snack.  

During After School Club children can play games (indoors and outdoors), read, and take part in craft and cooking activities as well as watching TV. We offer children fruit and a drink on arrival and then a snack later in the session.  There is a charge of £3.50 per hour/part hour per child to cover staffing and food costs.

Many resources are available for the children, for example; arts and crafts, games, DVDs, books and construction toys. Children are also able to play outdoor games in the playground as well as using the activity trail.

The Clubs provide a fun and stimulating environment for all children between 7.30am and 5.15pm, during term time as well as providing surroundings which ensure children are cared for and educated in a healthy, safe and secure environment. Our very experienced staff ensure the successful nurturing environment.

Little Bears After School Club Charges:- 

• 3.10 - 4.15   £3.50 includes Drink, Fruit/Biscuit served at 3.15.
• 4.15 - 5.15   £7.00 snack served at 4.30

This facility can be used regularly on set days or on an as needed basis. 

School Holidays

All children registered at Leigh Beck After School Club will have guaranteed access to Northwick Park Primary School’s Holiday Clubs. The club runs from 7.30am until 6.00pm.
